Theese drawings were made for the music video of the song
HISS by Megan Thee Stallion, directed by Douglas Bernardt.
These concepts were created to visually represent the director’s ideas, effectively pitching them to the artists and producers while showcasing his vision for the video. The artwork also helped to visualize how Megan’s conceived symbols would be brought to life within the scenes.
Both concepts and the storyboard were made in a 6 day sprint.
The boards were used to streamline both pre-production and shooting. The director utilized the storyboard to create an animatic, further enhancing communication with the crew.
To bridge the gaps between key frames and establish a smooth flow between the sketched scenes, over 70 images were created.
