COBRA by Megan Thee Stallion, directed by Douglas Bernardt.
These concepts were created to visually represent the director’s ideas, effectively pitching them to the artists and producers while showcasing his vision for the video. The artwork also helped to visualize how Megan’s conceived symbols would be brought to life within the scenes.
The entire set of concepts was completed in four days.
The boards were used to streamline both pre-production and shooting. The director utilized the storyboard to create an animatic, further enhancing communication with the crew.
To bridge the gaps between key frames and establish a smooth flow between the sketched scenes, over 100 images were made.
The entire storyboard was completed in a week-long sprint.
